Saw Mill Run closed for paving
Sawmill Run Road will be closed to traffic between Butler Road and Kennedy Drive for much of Friday.
The closure is scheduled to begin around 6:30 a.m. and last through 5 p.m., according to a news release from Butler Township's roads department.
It will be closed for asphalt paving.
The project is among the first of the township's paving projects.
Dave Meeder, director of public works for Butler Township, also noted Thursday that road work on Greenwood Drive wrapped up earlier than expected.
The road was closed between Route 422 and Benbrook Road for much of Thursday and was scheduled to be closed on Friday, but the pipe repair closing the road was finished early. Greenwood Drive won't be closed Friday.
These are the remaining projects on the townships' schedule.
Milling doesn't require road closures, but paving a road means closing it for some period of time.
The schedule is subject to change with poor weather.
