BUTLER TWP — Commissioners voted at a Monday meeting to keep the same meeting schedule for 2022, with commissioners meetings every first and third Monday and planning commission meetings the first Tuesday of the month.

The commissioners are considering making the first meeting of the month an agenda-setting or workshop meeting, and township manager Tom Knights said they will discuss the possibility further and vote to advertise the meeting schedule at their Dec. 20 meeting.

The township has canceled a few meetings recently, usually the first one of the month, because of a lack of agenda items according to Knights.
