Cynthia Jean (Capers) Stewart
Cynthia Jean (Capers) Stewart, 60, of Butler passed away with her devoted husband by her side Tuesday while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1958, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John Francis Capers Sr. and Norma Jean (Pell) McQueeney.
Cynthia was a graduate of Butler High School and attended Butler County Community College.
She was employed by Capers Real Estate, Butler Pediatrics and in the office of the Recorder of Deeds at the Butler County Courthouse.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 117.
Above all, Cynthia cherished her family and the time she spent with them. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Cynthia leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Darrell Eugene Stewart, whom she married on June 5, 1982; her children, Jeremy Stewart and his wife, Amie, of Denville, N.J., and Jonna Rumbarger and her husband, Mark, of Pasadena, Md.; her granddaughter, Isla Stewart; her brother, Joseph Capers of Holly Hill, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by a brother, John Capers Jr. of Holly Hill, Fla.
STEWART — Friends of Cynthia Jean (Capers) Stewart, who died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Deacon Mitch Natali and Pastor Mary Kitchens officiating.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
