MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Butler Country Club professional Rob McClellan, along with amateurs Rob Stoops, Brady Buckner and Phil Plant, carded an 11-under 133 to finish in second place at the Tri-State PGA Opening Day Pro-3 Amateur Monday at Lakeview Resort.

Brad Westfall of Tygart Lake Golf Club and his squad won the tournament with a 15-under 129.

Geibel receives PSAC-West honorLOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University junior third baseman Jenna Geibel was named the PSAC-West Player of the Week.Geibel, a Butler High graduate, batted .727 (8-for-11) with two home runs, five RBIs and three runs scored in doubleheaders against Edinboro and Gannon.For the year, Geibel leads The Rock with a .455 average, six home runs, nine runs scored, 15 RBIs, .547 on-base percentage and .932 slugging percentage.
