Donald Norman McClymonds

Donald Norman McClymonds, 70, of Portersville passed away at his residence on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021.

Born June 27, 1950, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Norman Dennis and Alda Mae Weller McClymonds.

He worked for many years in the construction business, and then worked and retired from Walmart in Butler, after achieving his 10-year pin.

He was an honorable veteran, who served first in the U.S. Army from Aug. 16, 1970, until 1972, and then again in the U.S. Navy from April 18, 1977, to Feb. 11, 1979. He served in both active duty and the reserve for our great nation.

He is survived by his siblings, Jane (Cal) Chronister of Butler, Henry McClymonds of Ellwood City, Melody McClymonds of Portersville, Bill McClymonds of Ellwood City, Dorothy McClymonds of Portersville, and Richard McClymonds of Portersville; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Stacy, Randy, Bruce and Derek; and many great-nephews and a great-niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth McClymonds; and his brother, Dennis McClymonds.

MCCLYMONDS — A private family burial with military honors for Donald Norman McClymonds, who died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, will take place in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.Cremation services were provided by Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 387 Main St., Prospect.Please visit www.raisleyfuneralhome.com.
