Paul K. Mendenhall
Paul K. Mendenhall, 84, of Rouseville, Pa., formerly of Butler, passed away Monday at the Butler VA Community Living Center surrounded by his family.
Born June 25, 1934, in Brookville, Pa., he was the son of the late Frank and Alta Crate Mendenhall.
Paul worked as a supply manager at Marmon Keystone in Butler for 29 years.
After retiring, he worked part-time for the past 18 years as a security officer at the Cranberry Mall in Seneca, Pa.
Paul served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until 1962 as a clerk and was stationed in Fort Knox, Ky.
Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking two fishing trips to Alaska and he also enjoyed camping.
He had many leadership positions with the Boy Scouts Troop 6 of Butler and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers.
Surviving are his wife, Janet McFadden Mendenhall, whom he married June 18, 1960; three children, Paula (David) Amiano of Fairmont, W.Va., David Mendenhall of Butler and Richard (Wendy) Mendenhall of Saxonburg; a granddaughter, Natalie Amiano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Konetsky.

Mendenhall, who died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, will be private for the family.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, 21 State St., Oil City. The Rev. Ian McElrath will officiate.Interment will be held at the Rynd Farm Cemetery in Rouseville, Pa.Arrangements were completed by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
