PITTSBURGH — Former Gov. Tom Ridge will be among the speakers at a Pittsburgh memorial service for philanthropist and civic leader Elsie Hillman.

Former PNC Bank chairman and CEO James Rohr and former University of Pittsburgh chancellor Mark Nordenberg will also deliver eulogies at the Sept. 19 memorial. Hillman died Aug. 4 at age 89.

A public memorial is being held at Calvary Episcopal Church, followed by a reception at the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History.

Hillman was the wife of billionaire industrialist and philanthropist Henry Hillman and a national Republican committeewoman. She helped Ridge and former President George H.W. Bush's political careers.

Hillman chaired the Elsie G. Hillman Foundation and was a trustee of the Hillman Family Foundations.

PITTSBURGH — Police say a teenager died and two men were wounded in a shooting in Pittsburgh's Knoxville section.The gunfire broke out on Brownsville Road just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday.The victim is identified as 15-year-old Curtis Pounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Two men were taken to a hospital and were in stable condition with graze wounds.
