Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., will host a Wednesday Portrait Group starting Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. Models can sign up and receive a free portrait and join the group as an artist as well. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., offers a display of Samurai dolls through the summer. The museum's collection includes Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain.
