Patricia L. Hazlet, 72, of West Sunbury passed away at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Patricia was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Bradys Bend. She was the daughter of the late John Calvin Hiles and the late Gladys Catherine Young Hiles.

Patricia was a homemaker, who loved gardening, horseback riding and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband, George A. Hazlet, whom she married March 4, 1960; two daughters, Tracy (Glenn) Hedrick of New Castle and Wendy Sue (Douglas) Protzman of West Sunbury; one daughter-in-law, Amy Hazlet of West Sunbury; one son-in-law, John Kozakovsky of Seneca; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, William Hiles of Rimersburg.

Patricia is preceded in death by one son, Jeff; one daughter, Sherry; and three brothers.

HAZLET — The family of Patricia L. Hazlet, who died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Concord Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Steiner officiating.
