MARSHALL TWP — A winner came forward recently to claim a $1 million lottery win from a ticket he bought at a Sunoco gas station, just across the Butler County line.

Charles Addleman, of Centre Hall in Centre County, won the money through the Pennsylvania Lottery’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle drawing, said Allen Zieglar, Pennsylvania Lottery media relations. The ticket was sold at Sunoco, 19090 Perry Highway.

The store will receive a $5,000 bonus from the lottery for selling the winning ticket, Zieglar said.

Addleman was one of four million-dollar winners in the Millionaire Raffle drawing on Jan. 7, which sells 500,000 tickets from Nov. 6 until the game sells out. Tickets are $20 each.

There are 6,000 prizes offered, including four $100,000 winners, 100 prizes of $1,000 and 5,892 prizes of $100.
