Bridgit J. Utz

Bridgit J. Utz, 57, of Mars, formerly of Baden, passed away Thursday evening at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Sewickley on Oct. 21, 1961, she was the daughter of Barbara Schoch Muha and the late John Raymond Muha.

Bridgit worked in retail sales for several area retailers.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown and also belonged to the Wexford Bowling League.

Surviving are her husband, Howard R. Utz, whom she married on June 21, 2008; two sons, Anthony John “A.J.” Pisano of Mars and Andrew Pisano (Mindi) of Ross Township; her mother, Barbara Muha of Oakton, Va.; two stepdaughters, Dena R. Fantini (Jason) and Debra Varner (Tom), and a stepson, Daniel Utz, all of Mars; eight stepgrandchildren; two brothers, John Muha (Kathy) of Oakton and Christopher Muha (Denise) of Herndon, Va.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Raymond Muha, and a stepgrandson.

UTZ — Friends of Bridgit J. Utz, who died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, with the Rev. Dan Muttart and the Rev. Paul Becker officiating. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
