ADAMS TWP — Adams Area Fire District is having a special ceremony at 1 p.m. Nov. 24 at the station headquarters off Route 228.

Firefighters will participate in the blessing of a new rescue truck. The department’s annual turkey raffle will be held following the ceremony at 2 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to see the department during an open house that lasts until 4 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
