Ginger Kilroy

A Butler woman was sentenced to state prison on two drug delivery cases in Butler County Court on Thursday.

Ginger T. Kilroy, 38, was sentenced to 21 to 42 months in a state correctional facility by county Judge Timothy McCune. She also was ordered to undergo 12 months of probation following her release and pay $250 in fines, after pleading guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance on April 24.

Kilroy was initially charged with two felony counts of possession with intent, six misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on June 12, 2014, and felony possession with intent, two counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on Jan. 25.

Butler city police said in the 2014 incident, Kilroy was found with numerous drugs in her home in the 200 block of Pillow Street after county Adult Probation officers searched the home and found more than 23 grams of crack cocaine, 52 stamp bags of heroin, Ecstasy, marijuana, hash and Suboxone.

The second incident occurred in January after the Butler County Drug Task Force said Kilroy was found at a home on North Elm Street in possession of 75 stamp bags of suspected heroin, $1,185 in cash, 10 Suboxone strips, a digital scale and six cell phones, following more than a month and a half of investigation into her alleged heroin trafficking activities.

Kilroy was held in Butler County Prison on $100,000 cash bail in the most recent offense.
