Edna Bryl Osche

Edna Bryl Osche, 89, of Fenelton passed away Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was born April 11, 1927, to the late Samuel Presley Stevenson and Laura Norilda Best Stevenson.

Edna lived for her family. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards and all types of puzzles. Her homemade meatloaf and spaghetti sauce were legendary.

Edna is survived by her son, Thomas Alvin (Bernadette) Brockman; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.

She also is survived by her sister, Anna Laura Stevenson Heasley; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Dickson Brockman; her second husband, Francis Albert Osche; six sisters and four brothers, Mabel Gertrude Stevenson Forsythe, Florence Ethel Stevenson Barnes, Edith Margaret Stevenson Ervin, Clara Ellen Stevenson Perfors, Mary Elizabeth Jane Stevenson Earnest-Goepfert, Kathryn Isabella Stevenson, William Lester Stevenson, John Lewis Stevenson, Paul Edward Stevenson and Clarence Thomas Presley Stevenson; four daughters and three sons, Mary Margaret Brockman Burns, Linda Lou Brockman Rock, Sara Kathleen Osche Henry, Patricia Ann Osche, John Wayne Brockman, Clarence Robert Osche and Frank Osche Jr.; and one granddaughter, Anette Lynn Brockman Boyer.

OSCHE — Friends of Edna Bryl Osche, who died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew McClain to officiate.
