SAXONBURG — A Halloween car cruise and collectible market will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday on Main Street. Activities include music, craft and collectible vendors and concession food.

PORTERSVILLE - A toy run will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday to benefit the Portersville Food Pantry.Registration will be at 1 p.m. at Zanotti Motor Co. on Pittsburgh Road, Butler Township. Butler County residents 16 and older may attend adult basic education classes sponsored by the Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, Grove City.Classes continue through June 11, 2010, but participants may start any time.Classes are designed for those who want to learn how to read, write, speak English or develop other basic skills. Students may also prepare to take the GED test to obtain high school equivalency.

The American Cancer Society's Look Good, Feel Better program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in classroom 5 at the main campus of Butler Memorial Hospital, 911 E.
