BUTLER TWP — A stretch of Old Plank Road will remain closed for another week while repairs are made for a pipe replacement.

A portion of the road was expected to reopen Friday but that has been delayed until Aug. 2.

The section of road between Littman Road and McQuistion Road closed July 11 due to damage caused by a storm.

The road was previously scheduled to be closed July 17 for a pipe replacement.

Butler County maintenance crews are doing the work.

A detour is in place using Littman Road to Route 8 North to Roosevelt Boulevard and back to Old Plank Road.

The road is open to local traffic and emergency vehicles.
