The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will have a community trunk sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Masonic Shelter parking lot at Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road.

Christ Community slates fall fest

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will have a fall fest celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 24.

There will be trunk and treat, pony rides, hay rides, a funhouse and snacks. This is a free event for the community.

CRANBERRY TWP — Psychic sisters Jean and Suzanne Vincent will return to Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, at 6 p.m. Oct. 27.The investigators will discuss some of their most famous cases including Caylee Anthony, John Yelenic, Mickey Sheller and Cherrie Mahan. They also will share ghost stories and talk about some of their visits to haunted places.Take a can of cat or dog food for the Butler County Humane Society. The program is free.Seating is limited. MARS — Dutilh United Methodist Church will have a trunk or treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in the parking lot behind the Mars campus, 525 Pittsburgh St.For more information, e-mail newday@dutilhumc.org.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Friends of the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will have a gently used fall book sale from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23; from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24; and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25.Adult, teen, and children's books, both hardback and soft cover, will be available, as well as audiobooks and CDs. Proceeds will benefit Cranberry Library programs and projects.
