Barbara Leasure

Barbara Leasure, 71, of Butler passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born Oct. 29, 1949, in Butler, she was the daughter of George and Patricia Snyder.

Barbara loved children, and ran her own licensed day care for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Stacey (John) Ahrens, and Ashley Martinez and her partner, David Nowakowski, both of Butler; two stepchildren, Shane Leasure of Butler, and Tawna Kanzler of Auburn, Maine; and four sisters, Patty (Robert) Clark of Butler, Judy (Lamar) Uber of New Castle, Jill (Robert) Mick of Butler, and Amy (Brian) Higgins of Butler.

Barb also had nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Barb is also survived by her cat and constant companion, Charlie, whom she loved so much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Leasure.

LEASURE — Per her wishes, there will be no service for Barbara Leasure, who died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
