Carol A. McKinney

Carol A. McKinney, 73, of Butler, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021.

She was born Jan. 2, 1948, in Butler, and was the daughter of Ruth (King) McKinney and the late Eugene McKinney.

Carol enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds, especially gourd and wooden egg art. She invested so much time and had such a unique gift for this style of art that she was well-known for it.

She touched so many lives by freely giving her art to others. Above all else, Carol loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her “Life Butler Family.”

She is survived by her sister, Peggy (Burton) Brewster; her six nephews; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Mark McKinney.

MCKINNEY — Friends of Carol A. McKinney, who died Monday, June 14, 2021, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
