One person was injured Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, in a crash on South Main Street shortly before noon. Butler police said a woman, whose name was not immediately released, ran a red light in a Buick Encore SUV at the intersection of South Main and West Diamond, hitting the driver’s side of a Grand Cherokee. Butler City Fire Department tended to the injured woman until EMTs arrived. The responders stabilized the neck of the Grand Cherokee driver and sent her by ambulance to the hospital.
