David C. Thompson
David C. Thompson, 64, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.
He was born March 8, 1956, in Butler, and was the son of the late James Sr. and Mary Louise (Vozar) Thompson.
David loved hunting, fishing and camping, and was known to always be found around a campfire.
He was a social member of the East Butler Volunteer Fire Department, and was also a previous chief of the Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
He was the beloved husband of Regina (Rodgers) Thompson, since their marriage in 1974; father of Christina Thompson, Shannon (Jonathan) Madden and Rebecca (Matt) Swain; brother of James (Patti) Thompson Jr. and John (Carol) Thompson; and the grandfather of Terrance, Nevaeh, Morgan, Nathan, Drew, Liam, Lexi and Neil.
He is also survived by his aunts, Margaret Moore and Dorthy Vozar,; his nieces and nephews; and a large and loving family.
THOMPSON — Friends of David C. Thompson, who died Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
