Deloris Barnes

Deloris Jean Barnes, 86, of Slippery Rock passed away on March 18, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born to Carl Wilson Nestor and Mable Marie Jackson Nestor in Worthington, W.Va.

Deloris worked as a home care provider.

Survivors include three daughters, Loretta Hogg of Slippery Rock, Jacqueline Sigecan of Simpsonville, S.C., and Faith (Roy) Lucas of Rives, Tenn.; two sons, Carl (Cindy) Dingus of Hadley, Pa., and Thomas Dingus of Slippery Rock; her sister, Loretta Irene Lipscomb of Butler; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Dingus; her sisters, Louise White and Helen Mazza; and her brothers, Carl Nestor, Kenneth Nestor and Bernard Nestor.

BARNES — A private service to celebrate the life of Deloris Jean Barnes, who died Thursday, March 18, 2021, will be held Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.
