Marlene Smith
Marlene Mae Snow Smith, 77, of Stoneboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at Grove City Medical Center.
She was born March 28, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Raymond Boden and Vivian (King) Shira.
She was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church.
Marlene had worked as a general manager at Sheetz.
She enjoyed crocheting and baking cookies with her great-granddaughter, Vivian.
Surviving are her son, Allen (Wanda) Thompson of Grove City; a daughter, Sherry Grey of Petrolia; four grandchildren, Chelsea (Isaac Gadsby) Thompson of Stoneboro, Kara (Travis) Everett of Woodbridge, Va., Alana Grey of Butler and Garret (Leah) Grey of Mercer; a great-granddaughter, Vivian Thompson; her sister, Alana Hockenberry of Transfer; and her brother, Vernon Boden of Phoenix, Ariz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Snow; and a granddaughter, Kourtney Grey.
SMITH — Friends of Marlene Mae Snow Smith, who died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, will be received from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Entombment will be held in Butler County Memorial Park.
