CARNEGIE — Police say two men have been arrested and a third is being sought in a shooting outside a Pittsburgh-area housing complex that injured three people, including an infant.

Investigators in Allegheny County say a man standing in the portico of the Carnegie Towers opened fire shortly before 3:15 p.m. Saturday, hitting people sitting in a car in the parking lot.

A newspaper report says the 2-week-old girl is in stable condition at Children's Hospital in Lawrenceville. A 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old man are being treated at Allegheny General Hospital.

Police said two Homewood men who have been arrested will be charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, and a 19-year-old man still being sought faces charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering and other counts.

UPPER DARBY — Authorities say an ax-wielding teenager charged out of a closet following a 911 call to a suburban Philadelphia home and was shot and wounded by police.Upper Darby police say they responded to a call around 1 a.m. after someone dialed 911 threatening to kill his family and himself.Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says when officers arrived, they entered the home and a 19-year-old man burst from a closet with an ax and was shot by one of the officers.Neither officer was hurt. The condition of the wounded man wasn't immediately available.Chitwood says the teen has a history of mental health issues.

PITTSBURGH — Police say a woman is dead and four injured after a wrong-way crash involving two vehicles on an exit ramp in downtown Pittsburgh.State police say 21-year-olf Audrey Warming of Port Matilda, Centre County, went the wrong way on the Grant Street exit for the Parkway East around 2 a.m. Sunday and struck another car trying to get off the highway.Warming was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. The other driver, identified as a 19-year-old Pittsburgh woman, was hospitalized with major injuries.The Centre Daily Times reports Warming is the daughter of Penn State men's soccer coach Bob Warming. Acting Athletic Director Dave Joyner asked the university community to keep the family in its thoughts.Two passengers in Warming's vehicle and one in the other vehicle were injured.

ERIE — Officials say a 21-year-old Gannon University student has died from injuries he suffered when he fell from a fraternity house balcony.A newspaper reports that Jason Wahl fell from a second-story balcony at the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity house on Friday night.Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook says Wahl was pronounced dead Saturday at UPMC Hamot.Cook says no autopsy is scheduled.He ruled the death an accident.Erie Police Chief Steve Franklin tells the newspaper that the fall is no longer under investigation.Wahl was a junior engineering major and member of Alpha Phi Delta.
