She bade no one a last farewell
She said goodbye to none,
The heavenly gates had opened
A lovely voice said, “Come”
And with farewell unspoken
She gently entered home.
Our dear one sleeps in silence
We’d not disturb her rest;
Sad and lonely are the hearts
Of those who loved her best.
