Huey

Robert James Huey, 71, of Butler, passed away Feb. 19, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 12, 1950, in Butler, and was the son of the late Richard D. Huey and the late Sara Smith Huey.

Robert graduated from Butler Senior High School, and then went on to study at Butler County Community College.

He was a member of First English Lutheran Church.

Robert worked for Lloyd Johnson, Koch Hardware, Penny Hardware, and Lowe's in sales, retiring in October of 2012.

He enjoyed golf, football, baseball and hockey. Robert was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan.

Robert is survived by his five brothers, Richard A. (Trudy) Huey of Hickory, N.C., Randall (Leslie) Huey of Butler, Roger (Tammy) Huey of Clarion, Ronald (Linda) Huey of Butler, and Roderick (Marcy) Huey of Butler; one sister, Elizabeth (Larry) Pallone of Butler; and seven nieces and eight nephews.

HUEY — Friends of Robert James Huey, who died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
