The Butler Area Street Machine Association recently donated $750 to the city’s police department for its K-9 unit.

Members of the auto group Jan. 7 presented a check to police at the Public Safety Building. The group also recently donated $750 to Wounded Warriors and $1,500 to the Butler Area Local Food Bank.

Board member Jim Dixon said the group is celebrating its 35th year in 2016 and will hold special events this summer to mark the milestone.
