Regina Irene Stepahin, 67, of Ashland, Ore., formerly of Lyndora, passed away Wednesday.

She was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Butler to Alexander and Mary Soley Stepahin.

A 1965 graduate of Butler High School, Regina received her bachelor's degree in French from Pennsylvania State University in 1969.

Regina is survived by her sister, Chris (Leonard) Larson of Lookout Calif.; her brother, John “Chick” (Vergie) Stepahin of Hallsville Texas; her nephew, Matt Weimer of San Francisco, Calif.; her niece, Lara (Chikuma) Nakazawa of Sakaide, Japan; and great-nephew, Kiba Nakazawa, also of Sakaide.

STEPAHIN — At the request of Regina Irene Stepahin, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, her cremated remains will be scattered in Oregon.Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
