Yankees must fill another hole at first base after injury
NEW YORK — Chris Parmelee is expected to miss at least a month after becoming the latest New York Yankees first baseman to get injured.
Parmelee was put on the 15-day disabled list Friday, a day after he strained his right hamstring stretching for a throw. He joined Mark Teixeira, Greg Bird and Dustin Ackley as Yankees first basemen on the DL.
“Not a lot of options,” manager Joe Girardi said.
