Bryon Schmidt
Bryon Senius Schmidt, 55, of Worth Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
Born Oct. 5, 1965, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Dennis Schmidt and Inez Davis Schmidt of Evans City.
Bryon earned his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. He was a proud Penn State alumnus. He earned his master of business administration through Robert Morris University. He worked as a principal project electrical engineer for Stantec in Butler.
Bryon was a born leader and always finished what he started. He was a “Jack-of-all-trades,” and enjoyed helping his children fix up their homes.
Bryon was a man of quiet patience, a strong faith, and could be depended on in a time of need. A dedicated family man at heart, he always took great care of his parents, his wife, his children and his siblings.
Bryon was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to travel and go camping with his family. He also loved listening to country music and drinking a beer. Bryon will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Connie Beck Schmidt, whom he married on Aug. 15, 1992; his daughters, Kathryn Schmidt and her fiancé, Nick Brooks, of Kane, Hannah Allison and her husband, Vaughn, of Harrisville, and Sarah Schmidt of Worth Township; his sister, Tracy Dentel and her husband, Jim, of Mars; and his brothers, Wesley Schmidt and his wife, Linda, of Evans City, Wayne Schmidt and his wife, Marla, of Evans City, and Andrew Schmidt and his wife, Susan, of Corry; one niece; and eight nephews.
SCHMIDT — Friends of Bryon Senius Schmidt, who died Saturday, May 29, 2021, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at English Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
