A June 3 wedding is being planned by Joy Pennington and Justin Galan, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Douglas and Kimberly Pennington of Parker. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Van Galan and Marsha Galan, both of Herman.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, receiving a bachelor's degree. She works as a district manager for the Butler Eagle.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School. He works at Indspec Chemical in Petrolia.
