An Aug. 5 wedding is being planned by Bethany Panther of Butler and Douglas Raraigh Jr.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the Rev. J. David and Janis Panther of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jim and Dianne Zinsmaster of Evans City.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in psychology at Slippery Rock University.

Her fiancé is a 2000 graduate of Pine-Richland High School. He works as the director of youth ministries at First United Methodist Church in Butler.
