An Oct. 7 wedding is being planned by Olivia Oesterling of Butler and Ryan Macurak of Karns City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Owen and Tammy Oesterling of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Joseph and Karen Macurak of Karns City.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Portersville Christian School and the Butler Vocational Technical School, where she studied cosmetology. She is currently pursuing a degree in cosmetology at Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy in Erie.

Her fiancé graduated in 2002 from Karns City High School and the Butler Vocational Technical School, where he studied computer-aided drafting. He earned an associate of applied science degree in computer-aided drafting in 2005 from Butler County Community College. He is currently employed at Gateway Engineering in Butler.
