An April 22 wedding is being planned by Alicia Adderly and David Reed III, both of Charlotte, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Johnnie Adderly and Alice Williamson, both of Miami. Parents of the prospective-bridegroom are David and Carol Reed of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Miami Coral Park High School and a 2003 graduate of Colorado State University, earning a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She is currently pursuing a master of science degree in elementary education at the University of North Carolina.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from Butler High School and earned bachelor of arts degrees in social and behavioral sciences and political science in 2000 and 2002. He works as a supervisor at First Citizens Bank in Charlotte.
