An Aug. 5 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Ashleigh Hay and Darren Machak.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and May Ann Hay of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are David and Ardie Machak of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School. She is currently a senior at Grove City College.

Her fiancé graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2005 from Washington and Jefferson College. He is currently a student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
