A July 15 wedding is being planned by Amanda Holmes of Slippery Rock and Matthew Lucco of Cranberry Township.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Betty Holmes of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Rocco and Mary Lucco of Butler.

The bride-elect graduated in 1996 from Slippery Rock High School and in 1999 from Butler County Community College. She is a student at Geneva College and works in the human resources department at Ellwood City Forge, Ellwood City.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Slippery Rock High School, earned a bachelor's degree in finance in 2002 from Grove City College and a master of business administration degree in 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an associate at FNB Capital Corp. in Pittsburgh.
