Harvey Daum

Harvey “Skip” Daum, 68, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

He was born Oct. 17, 1952, in Butler, and was the son of the late Harvey J. Jr. and Wilda R. Daum.

Harvey worked for the maintenance department at Life Steps for numerous years.

He loved anything outdoors, like hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his daughters. He also enjoyed singing on the “sing snap” app. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.

Harvey was the devoted husband of Patty (Hahn) Daum since their marriage in 1978; father of Aimee Fleeger and Ashley (Chris) Rodgers; brother of James (Alyce) Daum of Georgia, William L. (Darlene) Daum of Butler, and T. Scott (Lynn) Daum of Virginia; grandfather of Sadie (Cory) Powell, Shane Fleeger, Kori Fleeger and Logan Daum-Rodgers; and the great-grandfather of Kinsley Powell.

Harvey is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Daum; and his brother, Roger Daum.

DAUM — Friends of Harvey “Skip” Daum, who died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
