HOV lanes close due to construction
Motorists who carpool in the Pittsburgh area will need to find an alternate route.
The high-occupancy vehicle lanes along Parkway North-Interstate 279 were to close at 10 a.m. today so crews can make preparations for a nearly $88 million upgrade.
The HOV lanes will be closed through Sunday.
