An August wedding is being planned by Butler residents Tia McCormick and Tyrone Sub.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terry McCormick of Renfrew and Pamela Kniess of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are the late Wallace Sub and Sarah Sub.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Knoch High School. She also attended Butler Vocational Technical School.

Her fiancé graduated in 1979 from Slippery Rock High School. He attended Penn State University and Slippery Rock University.
