Berringer, Ringler

An Oct. 7 wedding is being planned by Shawna Ringler and Jason Berringer, both of New London, Conn.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sandra Ringler of Slippery Rock and the late I. Dale Ringler. Parents of the bridegroom are George and Elaine Berringer of Commodore.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate Slippery Rock High School and a 2005 graduate of the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors School. She works at Prudential Connecticut Realty in Niantic, Conn.

Her fiancé graduated in 1993 from Purchase Line High School and a 1998 and 2004 graduate of Indiana (Pa.)University, earning a bachelor's and master's degrees in safety science. He works as a safety manager at Centex Construction in Groton Conn.
