Leyland, Hoover

An Oct. 14 wedding is being planned by Butler residents Brianna Hoover and Colin Leyland.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David Hoover of Butler and Marjorie Hoover of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John Leyland of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Kurt and Joanne Crosbie of Karns City.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2001 graduate of Mercyhurst College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She works for the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from Karns City High School and in 2000 from Westminster College, earning a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He works in the Butler School District.
