Ashley Malash of Prospect and Steven McGinty of Slippery Rock have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim Malash and Beverly McDowell, both of Prospect. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are David McGinty and Michele McGinty, both of Slippery Rock.
The bride-elect is a senior at Slippery Rock High School.
Her fiancé graduated in 2006 from Slippery Rock High School.
