Bill Daw of Slippery Rock browses for books at the Friends of the Library book sale Thursday at the Butler Area Public Library. The nonprofit group hosts a book sale in a room at the library every Monday and Thursday with donated books and books no longer in the library’s circulation. All paperbacks are 50 cents and hardcovers are $1. Proceeds benefit the library. Used books for the sale can be donated to the library at any time.
