WHISTLER, British Columbia — The International Ski Federation said today's men's Olympic super-combined race was postponed because of heavy snowfall.

No new date was immediately set for the event at the Vancouver Olympics. However, officials had indicated on Monday that the race would be moved to Friday if it had to be delayed.

It's the second time the race has been postponed. It was originally scheduled for Sunday and postponed then due to the mix of warm temperatures, snow, rain and fog that wreaked havoc with the Alpine schedule last week.

This time organizers said that heavy snowfall throughout the night and soft conditions on the lower section of the course prompted the move.
