A U.S. maker of golf apparel is basking in the stir that Norway's curling team has caused with its funky pants.

The Norwegians have been sporting diamond-patterned pants made by Loudmouth Golf, based in Sonoma, Calif. The pants are indeed loud in a sport where most of the men's teams have preferred dark-colored trousers.

The company's whimsical apparel has been worn by pro golfer John Daly and Norway's King Harald V received a pair Tuesday.

Larry Jackson, the company's chief executive, said the pants like those worn by team Norway are flying off the shelves.
