SheLor School of Dance's competition group in Butler Township has been selected to compete at the World Show Dance Competitions this month in Germany as a part of the American Team. The competition is sponsored by International Dance Organization.The group was required to compete twice to be selected as a World Show Dance group/American Team. They competed regionally in Pittsburgh and nationally in Lancaster. In addition to being chosen as a World Show Dance American Team, they received First Place/Gold Award at the regional competition.The group's "Sing, Sing, Sing" performance was choreographed by dance instructors Kristen Mason and guest teacher Thom Cobb from Slippery Rock University.———
Kayla Hudak of Prospect will compete for the title of Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA Nov. 23, 24, and 25 at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport in Pittsburgh.The daughter of Butch and Sherry Hudak, she is a student of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. Her activities include dance and theater.Hudak's sponsors include Lorraine and Pina DiDomenico of Northwood Realty Services, Nicolette's Tailor Shop, The Cheeseman Farm, Pizza Joe's, Patty B's Hair and Tanning and family and friends.The winner of the state pageant will proceed to the Miss Teen USA Pageant.———
Megan Bascon of Butler will compete for the title of Miss Pennsylvania USAthis weekend at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport.The daughter of John and Teresa Bascon, she is a student at Butler County Community College.At the college, she serves as vice president of the Hospitality Management Club.Bascon's sponsors include Dr. James Bradley, Mount Chestnut Auto, Grand Rental Station, Paul Miller Computers, Jeffrey's D.J., Bronder Technical Services, and her family and friends.The winner of the state pageant will advance to the Miss USA Pageant.———Winners at the
