Witmer, Gabel

An Aug. 9 wedding is being planned by Shannon Gabel and Ward Witmer, both of Oil City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Dianne Gabel of Cranberry Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Wally and Diane Witmer of Harborcreek.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, earning a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. She works for the Oil City School District.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Hickory High School and in 2003 from Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor of science degree in psychology. He works at Pathways Adolescent Center in Oil City.
