COLLEGE NOTES

ZOE HUGHES (Knoch), a member of the Point Park University volleyball team, had a career-high 18 kills and added eight digs in a 3-1 victory over Fairmont State at the Pioneer Invitational Saturday. Against Davis & Elkins earlier in the day, Hughes had nine kills and four digs.•

ZEKE O'DONNELL (Butler) made seven saves, but the Point Park University men's soccer team fell to Daemen 2-1 in double overtime Saturday.•

JAKE HUEY (Butler) was credited with the game-winning goal as the Westminster men's soccer team dispatched Pitt-Johnstown 4-1 on Saturday.•

MONICA GLOMB (Mars), a junior pitcher for the Kutztown University softball team, tossed a complete-game three-hitter as the Golden Bears won 1-0 over Division I Rutgers Sunday.•

JENNA RINKER (Slippery Rock High), a freshman with the Clarion University women's golf team, won medalist honors at the two-day Baldwin-Wallace Invitational. In her first collegiate action, Rinker fired a 79 on Sunday to go with her 1-over par 73 Saturday. She won by four strokes in helping the Golden Eagles place second out of 10 teams.
