NICK EDINGER (Mars), a freshman on the Geneva College cross country team, was selected Male Student Athlete of the Week by the college. He finished ninth overall at the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcat Invitational with a time of 29 minutes, 20 seconds.•
JENNIFER BOYD (Seneca Valley) had a season-best 11 kills to key the Ball State women's volleyball team to a 3-2 victory over Akron Thursday.
