MONICA GLOMB (Mars), of the Kutztown University softball team, pitched a four-hit shutout with four strikeouts in a 5-0 victory over Gannon Saturday. On Friday, Glomb pitched the first two innings against Millersville, allowing no runs on two hits with a pair of strikeouts in a 4-0 triumph.•

LAUREN PENNELL (Seneca Valley) allowed no earned runs on one hit over the first four innings to help lead the Grove City College softball team to a 3-1 victory in eight innings in the first game of a doubleheader against Washington & Jefferson College Monday. In the nightcap, Pennell had an RBI in the 6-2 win.
